Library

The University Library is a structural unit of Ltd Guram Tavartkiladze Tbilisi Teaching University. The library acts upon the laws of Georgia, subordinate normative acts, University Charter and present statutes.

Guram Tavartkiladze Tbilisi Teaching University Library has been functioning since the establishment of the university. The library meets modern requirement, first of all it satisfies the criteria set by the order #618, 11.11.2005 of Minister of Education and Science of Georgia to the HEI-s. The library offers the students and lecturers all the conditions, necessary for academic and scientific work.

The library has cozy, comfortable modern reading hall, lending library and book depository. Their interconnection makes it possible to satisfy reader’s requirements.

Majority of the books are teaching manuals and scientific literature in Georgian and English languages, corresponding to the university profile. The library keeps scientific and academic literature as well as e-versions of the courses foreseen by the academic program (CD and DVD).

University library applies alphabetical and systematic catalogue, as well as electronic search system _ OpenBiblio. The reading hall is equipped with computers connected to the internet, which gives readers the opportunity to use the free e-resources of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia. Namely Georgian electronic book, digital library.

GTUNI library is open every day except Sunday.

Working hours: from Monday-Friday _ 09:30-17:30; Saturday - 10:00-16:00.
