On December 26, 2012 the MoU was signed between the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University.
The signatories to the MoU were Davit Narmania, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and Prof. Giorgi Matiashvili, GTTU Rector.
Within the framework of MoU the main priorities of the partnership are the following:
- To Support the university students’ professional practice in the structural bodies of the ministry.
- To involve university students on the researches carried out by the ministry;
- To actively participate in the recommendations to the educational programs of the university.
- To choose the successful students for future job placement within the framework of Georgian legislation;
Besides, the parties will support the activities for raising the qualification of students as well as young staff: organize special trainings, certified program, introduce distant learning and etc.
After the signing of the MoU, the guest had little excursion around the university. He was much impressed with forensic laboratory, Tele and Radio labs, Mock Bank, tourist agency and consulting Center.
