On 28 March 2014 an outdoor lecture was conducted for Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University fourth year students of Business Administration Faculty on the Georgian Stock Exchange.
The students were hosted by the Stock Exchange Director General Vakhtang Svanadze.
Vakhtang Svanadze explained to the students that the Georgian Stock Exchange is the only organized and licensed stock market in Georgia. Its trading system and rules is in line with the international standards and offers investors the most effective service in Georgian reality.
He also talked about the issues such as the privatization process, the legislative base, brokerage companies, what is the Stock Exchange corporate structure, what are the functions of the governing body, how is the stock market self-regulation and all the specific request of business logic which provides regulated work in any country.
After the public lecture students visited the Stock Exchange hall.
There were questions on which the students received comprehensive and competent answers.
