These days, Guram Tavartkiladze Tbilisi Teaching University ,Tourism Department students were held the field lecture on "Geoinformation Systems in Tourism" in Borjomi valley. Field study was aimed at the walking and introduction a particular tour of the tourism specialty students.

The students set out from the central part of Borjomi on its steep slopes in the north-west and with the hard rocky paths reached the rugged cliff. Then they went back in the wooden way; they described Gogia castle and they marked with GIS tourist views.

Participants of the field lecture will place the route on the digital map of Borjomi valley and provide thematic maps with practical exercises.
