On April 10, the Professional Development Center of the Georgian International University GIU organized a masterclass for students - ,,Labor Discrimination and Challenges in the Private Sector“.

The masterclass was led by Tamar Gabisonia - Regional Coordinator of the International Network of Lawyers for the Protection of the Rights of Employees in Europe and Central Asia.

The speaker spoke on topics such as:

• Equality and Labor Relations in Georgia;

• Norms Prohibiting Discrimination;

• Forms of Labor Discrimination;

• Systemic Problems in the Private Sector;

• Legal Framework and Practical Barriers;

• Positive Practices and Recommendations.

The public lecture was held in an interactive format.
