On April 10, a public lecture was held for students of the Georgian International University GIU “Beyond the Numbers: How Banks Evaluate Your Loan Application and How to Reduce Rejections?”

The lecture was led by Ms. Tamar Laliashvili – a business analyst with 10+ years of experience in the banking sector.

The speaker emphasized the fact that a credit decision does not depend only on numbers.

During the public lecture, the speaker touched upon such topics as:

• Assessment of business loan applications by banks;
• Which factors influence decision-making;
• How and in what form a business loan application should be prepared to minimize the risk of rejection, etc.

The meeting was held in an interactive format.
