On December 20, 2024, the annual international scientific conference ,,Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation Trends” was held at the Georgian International University GIU. The event was attended by leading scientists, experts and practitioners who reviewed relevant issues of artificial intelligence and digital technologies.

The purpose of the conference was to encourage scientific discussion, exchange innovative ideas and respond to global and regional challenges of law; social and humanitarian sciences; education sciences; business and economy; Information technology and tourism.

The conference was incepted by the Rector of GIU, Professor Eliso Elisashvili, who spoke about the importance of artificial intelligence and digital transformation in the modern world. In the opening part of the conference, the participants were addressed by professionals of the field, Professor Jose Grabiel Luis Cordova (Senior Research Fellow at University of Groningen) and Professor Zviad Gabisonia (USAID Expert; Head of the PhD program of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Governance at BTU).

The work of the international conference was summarized by the moderators of the panels, Associate Professor Tatia Dolidze, Associate Professor Grigol Kalandadze and Professor Sopiko Tevdoradze.

The closing speech of the conference was delivered by the Rector of GIU, Professor Eliso Elisashvili.
