On September 29–30 and October 1 of this year, Mr. Giorgi Amiranashvili, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor at the Guram Tavartkiladze Tbilisi Teachimg University participated in celebrations marking the Swiss Institute of Comparative Law's 40th anniversary in Lausanne (Swiss Confederation).
Giorgi Amiranashvili, a previous Van Kalker Institute scholarship recipient, was welcomed to the occasion as a guest and conference speaker (2019).
,,Comparative law as a discipline (on the example of Georgia)" was the title of his report.
Giorgi Amiranashvili commented on the broad significance of comparative law as an academic field in the context of higher education throughout his lecture.
Additionally, he discussed the comparative methodology-based study programs run by Guram Tavartkiladze Tbilisi Teaching University at the Master's level of the Faculty of Law.
