The University of Coventry, UK, recently launched the Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) project "Leadership and Motivating People".
Representatives of the United Kingdom, Georgia, Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, Poland, Denmark, Ghana and Vietnam participated in the project.
The project had leaders from several higher education institutions: Dr. Fouad Alame - ALAME; Prof. Fred Lemke - Vlerick Business School; Dr. Alexandre Metreveli - Coventry University; Mrs. Mary Crossan - Coventry University; Prof. Sofo Tevdoradze - Guram Tavartkiladze Tbilisi Teaching University; Mr. Peter Waring Lei - IBA International Business Academy; Ms. Camille Smith-Tardy - MADE in Sainte-Marie Lyon; Dr. Iana Okhrimenko - Lazarski University; Mrs. Maren Hartstock - University of Bremen; Dr. Piyya Muhammad Rafi-ul-Shan - Cardiff Metropolitan University.
In the field of educational process, Sofiko Tevdoradze - Professor, Head of the Undergraduate Program in Tourism, Vice-Rector of the Guram Tavartkiladze Tbilisi Teaching University - was one of the leaders.
Participants were given the opportunity to learn about the key characteristics that can aid in the development of an inspiring leader phenomenon as part of the project. The project participants had to complete a practical task in addition to the theoretical portion.
Lika Kakhuashvili, Mariam Dzirkvadze, Nino Janashvili, Tatia Unmark, and Giorgi Adamashvili were the only students from Georgia's Guram Tavartkiladze Tbilisi Teaching University who took part in the project.
Students who took part in the project received certificates from Coventry University.
