Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University hosts the participants of International Association of Scientific Experts in Tourism conference

From September 3 to September 6, 2017, Georgia hosts the 67th International Conference of the International Association of Tourism Scientific Experts (AIEST).

The name of the conference is "Sustainable growth business models in the field of tourism". AIEST (International Association of Scientific Experts in Tourism) is the first scientific organization of tourism founded in 1951 and since that date it has been conducting scientific researches on tourism development trends.

The organization unites scientists from 49 countries around the world. In 2015, the Deputy Rector of Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University, Professor Maia Ukleba was elected as a permanent member of this organization.

Today the conference participants were welcomed by Harald Pehlner, President of the International Association of Tourism Experts in Tourism (AIEST) at Courtyard Marriot.

The guests were addressed welcoming words by Christian Laser, Secretary General of the International Association of Tourism Scientific Experts, Professor Maia Ukleba, Deputy Rector of Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University, Professor Vazha Vardidze, Rector of Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani Teaching University, and Giorgi Chogovadze, Head of Georgian National Tourism Administration.

The conference is hosted by Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University and Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani Teaching University.
