On 29th of November 2013, the book presentation was held at GTTU. The manual was issued within the framework of Georgian-French project.
The idea for creation and issue of the manual was prompted by the absence of Georgian materials in this sphere.
The manual has 13 co-authors, professors of nine HEI, 1 French Professor among them. It consists of 11 chapters and over 300 pages.
‘The project includes all the main Issues on Journalism that have been appearing since its foundation, at every stage of its development’- says Terry Comm in the review of the book.
The presentation started with warm welcome to the guests by Prof. Giorgi Matiashvili, Rector of Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University.
The Head of Journalism department of GTTU, Professor Marine Vekua spoke about the creation idea of the manual and the work carried out on it.
Dean of Social Science School of PublicAffairs Institute of Georgia, PHD Nestan Tsitsishvili and Marine Muskhelishvili, Head of Social Research Center expressed her opinion on the book.
