The IB Mtiebi private school's graduating class was hosted by Faculty of Law of Guram Tavartkiladze Tbilisi Teaching University today, October 20.
The students toured the university's physical facilities, instructional labs, including a mock courtroom, travel agency, educational bank, consulting center, radio and TV studios, and library. They also went to the forensics lab to undertake actual investigative work.
They needed direction in the forensics laboratory from David Chagunava, the lab's director.
Examining the accident scene, collecting fingerprints, identifying a specific person, and creating a plaster cast of the accident scene. This is a list of the initial investigative steps that law students who were interested in the field had to take on their own, and a brief foray into the field of criminology was also helpful.
Professor Givi Lobzhanidze, dean of the Faculty of Law, awarded certificates to the students taking part in the training of the fundamentals of forensic techniques after undertaking particular practical forensic activities.
