On 6-7 April 2016, in Matej Bel University, Slovaquie was held the conference "Identity, Democracy, Borders" organized by the Erasmus, Jean Monnet of the European Union, "European Identity, Culture, Exchanges and Multilinguism ".

The conference was participated by Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences Marine Vekua.

Her conference theme was "Universal values of democracy and the diversity of Identity".
