On April 15, 2018 Rustavi hosted participants of the Students' Cup Double Racing. The tournament was attended by the students of International Black Sea University, Caucasus University, Guram Tavartkiladze Tbilisi Teaching University, Caucasus International University, Georgian National University, Georgian Technical University and other higher education institutions.

In the final races, Georgian Technical University students were the rivals of GTUNI students. GTU students in the tense race took the second prize place.

Giorgi Khidirbegishvili, Aleksandre Khubunia, Bachuki Oshkhareli and Rezo Kheladze have been defending the dignity of GTUNI at this time.

GTUNI students received 300 liters of fuel, medals and diplomas.
