This current year from 28 June to 15 July, Georgian University Sports with the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs of Georgian Federation is conducting "Universiade - 2017".

Nodar Beriani, Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University, Business Administration Faculty, Tourism Specialty student became the first holder of "Universiade - 2017" in judo (90 kg weight category).

Nodar Berianne won this title for the second time.
