Today, June 7, 2021, the Student League Basketball 2020-2021 season has begun.

Eight teams are participating in the tournament, the winner of which will qualify for the professional "A" league.

The basketball players of Guram Tavartkiladze University had their first meeting with the basketball team of Akaki Tsereteli State University and won a convincing victory. The match ended 88:67.

The competition is organized by the Georgian Sports Federation, which together with the Georgian National Basketball Federation, holds a student league with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth of Georgia.

A total of eight teams are participating in the tournament.

Our basketball players will have the next matches against Georgian Basketball University and Iliauni basketball teams.
