April 22 is the International Day of the Earth. This year the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia started the cleaning week called "Clean to Europe". Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University took part in this cleaning action, who declared solidarity to the environmentalists in Kikvidze Park (Veterans Rest and Culture Park).

Earth Day is one of the largest environmental events in the world, in which millions of volunteers and hundreds of organizations participate from around the world every year.
