On December 12, 2017, Guram Tavartkiladze Tbilisi Teaching University students took part in the work of the Round Table on the new Draft of Drug Policy, which deals with the liberalization of drug policy. The meeting was held with the support of the organization of "Women of Georgia for Peace and Life”. The workshop was attended by one of the authors of the draft David Otiashvili and psychologist of the Psychological home "Kamara" Nino Komakhidze. The speakers emphasized the expected positive and negative consequences of the new draft.
The round table was also attended by the Representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, teachers of public schools. Students of Guram Tavartkiladze Tbilisi Teaching University Davit Dolidze, David Lezhava, Zurab Khvichia, Nika Kokosadze, Anuki Gugulidze and Giorgi Idukashvili participated in the discussion.
