On March 16, 2017 at Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University by the initiative of Social Sciences Faculty Journalism Specialty students and NGO "Young Generation" was held the students’ conference under the title “Abkhazia is our pain “ which was dedicated to the fight at the Gumista River on 16th of March 1993 in Abkhazia. The speakers provided with the detailed information related on this date to the attended audience. After the reporters opening speech Professor Valeri Vashakidze delivered a speech.
After the end of the conference, the participants were awarded with the memorable certificates.
24 years have passed after the battle near the river Gumista in Apkhazia.
