Today, on August 6, 2020, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Defense of Georgia and Guram Tavartkiladze Tbilisi Teaching University.

According to the Minister of Defense, the Ministry will provide 50% co-financing of tuition fees for servicemen enrolled in higher education and their families.

Within the framework of the memorandum, it is planned to conduct public lectures, excursions to military units, cognitive-educational projects and military research activities by the heads of the Ministry in higher education.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Rector of Guram Tavartkiladze Tbilisi Teaching University, Professor Giorgi Matiashvili.
