Today, January 13, 2023, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the People's Republic of China Archil Kalandia visited GTUNI.
Within the framework of the visit, Mr. Archili met the Rector of the University, Professor Giorgi Matiashvili, Chancellor Eli Elisashvili and representatives of the administration.
The ambassador inspected GTUNI's infrastructure, simulated practical training laboratories, Chinese and Ukrainian language classrooms and expressed his approval for the university's current and ongoing activities.
The meeting included topics related to potential future cooperation. After learning about the university's future objectives, Mr. Archil stated his desire to actively support and provide advice throughout the creation of new educational initiatives. He also discussed fresh ideas for China-Georgia educational collaboration and exchange initiatives.
The university administration thanks Mr. Archil for his visit.
